Assignment of non-teaching duties within load for any faculty member, for any purpose, is a matter of academic/managerial judgment at the College. A faculty member on administrative or other non-teaching assignment, while remaining on an academic year faculty contract, will be expected to carry out a set of responsibilities that will require a different work schedule than that normally followed by full-time teaching faculty. The responsibilities, as well as the amount of released time, of faculty on administrative or other non-teaching assignment will be specified in writing by the appropriate academic administrator.
